Local Support Groups

The Diabetes UK Bexley support group is a self-funded group offering mutual support, information and advice to people affected by diabetes and those who care for them. The group meet monthly and send out regular newsletters.

Meetings take place on the third Friday of every month (excluding August) at the United Reformed Church, Geddes Place, Bexleyheath at 7.30pm. To visit the groups website, click here.

Young Diabetic

The group is based in Bexley, for young people with diabetes. The group meet and share information about living with diabetes. Meetings are held quaterly, where guest speakers attend.

Diabetes Support Group Thamesmead

For those patients who do not wish to attend an evening support group or for those of you who live in the North Bexley area, we now have a Thamesmead support group. This support group is recently established and will meet on the second Tuesday of each month. The meetings will take place in the upper rooms at the Emmanuel Church, Yarnton Way, between 10am - 12 noon. Please feel free to drop in when you can.
